To start, I have to say that the Ice Cream truck is a perfectly legitimate business. I remember having fun with my fiends as we chased it down so we could buy some ice cream during the hot summer months. Even today I sort-of perk up when I hear the music in the distance.
Well, the ice cream truck just passed my house and it suddenly struck me:
This is a man slowing droving a van around town trying to attract kids.
lmao... it is just me or is that basically what pedophiles do?

I have always thought that. But I was molested as a kid. The guys who run those trucks always gave me the creeps. I would never let a kid buy ice-cream from them. I know it is just something kids do. But coming from where I saw it I just did not like them.
Sure, that and jobs involving wearing costumes to interact with kids. I am always shocked parents will hand over their babies to any creep in a costume to hold, just for a photo op. I got severe goosebumps watching one such creep at a Renaissance Faire.
That exact thought occured to me one day. There is no way an ice cream truck can make it in Los Angeles. The cost of Insurance, Gas, Business taxes, etc etc would wipe out any profit
