Yes, I finally started reading that book. He mentions Jehovah's Witnesses several times, and uses it as an example.
There is no way in the world I could have read this book before, and even if I did, I bet I would have thought that OTHER groups are cults.
Not anymore.

You must be reading Releasing the Bonds then because Combatting Cult Mind Control doesn't mention JWs by name at all.
They're both great books though.

My copy never mentions JWs.
Chapter 4 is particularly good.
my copy of combatting mind control doesnt mention the jw's either, except in the very end/reference section. but i'm trying to get a copy of Releasing the Bonds. good book, eh?
Ha ha oh yes, its Releasing the Bonds. I was looking in the library and when I saw Steve Hassan's name I just grabbed it and opened it. I worry a little if another Witness sees me.
Am I reading the right book first? Or should I look for Combatting Mind Control?

They are both marvelous, Bonafide, I really don't think it matters which one is read first.

Its an excellent book, I have both of his books and they helped me to rid myself of the what if's....
