Does it seem as though Fathers of JW famlies have a God complex? From what I've seen it seems like they will ask some of the most outrageous things of their famlies just to see if they'll do it. I've seen for my self one of these men ask thier famlies members to walk through filthy water to get a basket ball for him when he wouldn't do it for himself, I've also seen them make their daughters lotion their feet, ect. Is this a common practice?

The JW religion is very much male-dominated, but the behavior you describe is probably just an individual thing.
One thing that irks me to this day is when my sister had to wear a head covering while conducting a "Bible study" because her little pompous baptized JW son was present. He was only 10 years old!

There should be no surprise. Jewish-Christian-Islamic religions and sects are the most chauvinistic you can find. It must be a 'family' thing since they are all related and all worship the same god... the god of abraham. These religions have always treated women as a lesser being to the point of absurdity... The old testament refers to women's biological cycles as 'making them un-pure' and being cast from the tents. Christianity has killed thousands (some scholars say millions) of women under the Inquisition accused of witchcraft etc etc.
Jws of today follow precepts such as 'women should be silent' and 'submissive' to man...
Yet the most ancient worship systems that exist worship the goddess... women are considered sacred and to be respected and revered as the life giving vessel...
