    Hey folks,

A possible sequel for Tough Questions for Jehovah's Witnesses... well sort of. I sporadically get messages from people in other religions asking me to do a series about their religion or former religion. I've gotten a few from Seventh Day Advantists, I've gotten some from Mormons including one that saw my series as a chance to witness to people about their religion and answer the tough questions something they were shocked more JWs didn't do. The most interesting of which is I've received about 12 former Scientologists asking me to do a series on Scientology. This one I'm seriously considering because I'm fascinated with the subject matter, however I have read some expiriences regarding those who critisize Scientology being harassed and defamed by the Church of Scientology. Even to the point of taking them to court.

Since JWs aren't that adament about those critisizing their religion as Scientologists are, and from my current series I've received numerous death threats I'm wondering if doing a series on Scientology is such a good idea.

What's your thoughts? Should I do the series on Scientology, or do you feel the risk is too great to myself and my family?

    Thanks everyone!

Well, it probably could be done anonymously under a pen-name or you might research if something has already been done like that and simply refer people to that.

It is true that harassment has taken place with that group. But if you feel that it is a God given assignment it probably would prosper but not without some difficulty. But in writing you would want to verify everything as true and cross all you t's and dot all your i's concerning the group.

    Just some thoughts.

Yeah I don't want to do anything anonymously. I think that's the appeal of my videos now because you can see me, it's clearly me I don't have anything to hide. While I like all the produced videos by alot of the folks on youtube, I think seeing the person talking to you give an added appeal.

If you decide to do it, I think it would be interesting to compare the Scientologists with the JWs.

I live 5 miles down the road from The Scientology Headquarters in Clearwater. I often see people

protesting. For the past year I have seen a fellow riding a bicycle pulling a wagon with signs

exposing scientology, and promoting a anti scientology web site.

They havent knocked him off in the past year. Which would be easy to do and

look like an accident. I'm supprised a dissinterested party hasnt hit him, while hes

riding his bike on the main streets.

I work in a jail. Inmates threaten to kill me all the time.

I dont worry about the ones that threaten me.

I worry about the guy who does things and doesnt talk about them.

    .

You're absolutely right. You should read some of the stories of people held against their will in Scientology, or also read the legal cases where Scientology sues people into bankruptcy. Crazy stuff.

You might try getting advice from a lawyer on what things are liable for a lawsuit.
