As far as most of us are aware, those who practise the ancient lore are WICCANS.

In modern usage, witches have connotations of evil, from their long association with the forces of darkness in Fairy tales.

You are not in the majority here, though I see where you are coming from.

It is rather like a JW being offended when you insist he ought to be a CHristian, not a JW.

"Are you a Christian. Do you accept jESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR?"
