In the result, the application of the estate to introduce fresh evidence on appeal is dismissed

as the proposed fresh evidence does not affect the outcome. The appeal of the estate from the

summary judgment is dismissed. The cross-appeal by Morrell and Bokor is allowed and the action

against them is dismissed. The cross-appeal by Brady, Gnam and the Society is dismissed.

Too bad there is no lawyer that would help this men for free. Or does he really have anything to stand on? I wish him all the best but is he fithing a loosing battle since the girl had 80 transfusions and died? I think someone should sue WTS when an individual got a transfusion and lived because of it while at the same time WTS was harrasing them not to and resulting in disfellowshipping the individual afterwards and creating great hardship after recieving a life saving treatment. There could be discriminatory law suit there or at least harrasment case?? Either way I would love to see WTS loose, that would make my day and I know that day will come even if it isn't this case. Just a matter of time.

As I commented on another thread, what needs to be shown to the Courts is that no active JW, or particularly children of active JW's, can make truly informed decisions.

They are refusing blood because of WT doctrine, but they have never been allowed to examine this doctrine in the way that we have.

They should not be allowed the excuse of informed consent when they have had information witheld from them.

I know it is difficult, if not impossible, for a Court to interfere and make such info. available, and there may not be time, but it would be good to keep pushing this point to the public, that JW's are not allowed to be fully informed.
