    Yes. I have a comment.

This is just one more example of why no one in power will ever make a mnove to stop the lies, deceit and treachery of religions.

When all those witnesses come from out of state, or even long distance within state, they are filling the hotels, and restaurants, gift shops, gas stations, etc. etc.

The merchants are making money on them; through that, the state also receives it's revenues in taxes, permits, toll roads, etc.

They are all bedfellows in this money laundering scheme.

That's why government will never stop religious injustice.

And people will do nothing because these industries/merchants put food on their table through the trickle down economics.

Here's yet another example of how religion-politics-and commerce are deeply entertwined.

    Evil is Rewarded and Glorified!

May 19, 2009 -- The Oklahoma State Senate unanimously adopted a concurrent resolution May 7 honoring the life of veteran healing evangelist Oral Roberts

Republican Sen. Dan Newberry of Tulsa said he sponsored the resolution to recognize the impact Roberts has had on Oklahoma as a leader in religion and education. He also estimates that Oral Roberts University (ORU), the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association and the City of Faith Medical and Research Center have brought "hundreds of millions of dollars" into the state.

"I've laid hand on more than 1.5 million people, individually, for their healing," Roberts told the lawmakers. "Some have been healed; some have not. But I marked a path for other ministries."

Here is a little info on the evil marketing genius behind Oral Roberts. All of this has been a great deception on poor people, desperate for cures and relief from immense pain.

    Quote:

"Gene laid out one of the most sophisticated fund-raising campaigns I had ever seen. He said, 'Oral, I want you to write your supporters and tell them you are going in the prayer tower, and you are going to read their prayer requests and pray over them.' He stayed there three days. I forget how many hundred thousands of letters we had, but it was huge."

Robinson said that on Ewing's advice, Roberts responded to the letters with a letter outlining seed faith.

"You give and you get from God. It was a kind of prosperity gospel," Robinson said.

Roberts was so happy with Ewing's advice that he gave Ewing the plane, Robinson said.

The next year, income to Roberts' ministry doubled, to $12 million from about $6 million, Robinson said.
