I have had that plenty of times--I would be at a boasting session and not know why I decided to go. I would suddenly realize that it was a mistake, and it would be too late. I have also seen trips to the a$$embly hell, also not knowing why I decided to go, but not being able to do anything about it because we are already en route.
It's when I find myself being dragged there, fully awake and things falling into place in sequence and I find myself at the Kingdumb or A$$embly Hell that there is real reason to worry--worse yet, when I find myself fully awake and in the Value Destroyer Training School, and then getting a billion assignments at once (that I cannot dog). Once that happens, I will know that the Second Dark Ages is only a few months ahead, and will last forever. And I will NOT wake up and find myself back in peace.

i had an odd dream last night: fell asleep at the wheel, I should have been checking the temperature guage, my radiator exploded and I woke up in cape town near a gas station - went in there for directions to swellendam.
