Did anyone else watch the new show on FoX "Lie to me" about a devout Jehovah's Witness family?

  I only got to see bits and pieces of it cause i had a hectic day yesterday ..

  But even on my satellite dish under info it listed it as a devout J.W. family show/drama

  Just curious what others thought and if anyone watched it in entirety.

  Then I did a google search under "Lie to Me" jehovah's witness and got some reviews on it.

  On one site a active J.W. said it was pretty good show but that not all J.w's are as the show portrayed them, always

  in dress clothes almost 24/7.

  Thought there was some interesting comments on all those websites about it...both pro and con

  Anyways let me know what you thought of it any that had the chance to see it. As I mentioned earlier I only saw about

  maybe five minutes of it but wanted to see more.

  If you live in the US, you might be able to catch the full episode on hulu.com

  I like the show itself - the study of micro-expressions is fascinating to me, although the caricature it offered of JWs in the pilot episode was hardly accurate.

  Yes, I watched part it last night and recorded the rest, but it is a re-run, it was the pilot episode...so you should be able to watch the full episode on line....

  Saw it.

  A lot of it rang true, but the parents' dialogue was a bit stiff & unrealistic.

  I got the impression that one of the writers has JW family, or perhaps was even raised as Witness many years ago, and was working off fuzzy memories of JW belief. Got most of the basics right, but details were a bit off.

  Thanks all for your rapid responses..

  This was the first I had heard of this show (as you can tell I'm not a big T.V. watcher, more into computers and such)

  I was in my office and all of a sudden my wife said come into the living room quick this shows talking about J.W's

  So I ran in there just in time to catch a few phrases about the witnesses then had to get back to the home office.

  So is this show going to be like a series ongoing?

  Or is it just going to be a few episodes?

  I haven't really looked into much yet online.

  Saw this a few weeks ago in the U K...after somebody on here alerted us that it was coming.

  If you liked the show?....Sorry but I thought it was rubbish . Poor acting , poor dialogue and a phony idea around which the series is based.

  I could see no reason to write in the J W's to the episode. It was not realistic . My wife (active dub ) watched with me and it did not get a reaction even from her.

  I like the show..The JW family was not realistic..Very little research was done about how JW`s speak or behave.........................OUTLAW
