Will the real Ten Commandments please stand up?

We begin with Exodus 20:1-17 then, later on they get broken. Afterwards they get recopied in Exodus 34:1-27. Even though the second set is clearly stated to be like the first set in verse 1 it is obvious that they are not. It seems like we have competing priesthoods or something rewriting the commandments for their own agenda.

No, they were picked up from the "as-is" aisle, there's only 8 out of the original set, but hey, for half price, why not?

I find it outrageously funny that "Honor your father and your mother" is not in the second (Exodus 34) set but "Do not cook a kid(young goat) in it's mothers milk" is.

I recall seeing in a documentary movie that there were actually 15 original commandments written on 3 stone tablets. 5 were written on each one.

But when Moses was walking down the mountain, he dropped and broke one of the tablets so that instead of 15, there were on 10 commandments remaining.
