Well she made it through with flying colors. 10 hours in surgery. She may have to go back and have further surgery down the road on her nose.. but all in all it was a success. The next few days will be key... hopefully no infection... Hard to tell at the moment...she's all swollen..and it will be a while before we can tell...

Update The accident was 3 years ago.... how time flies!!!!!! Here is Aubrey now. You would never know.... She will be 14 in September.

Just realized this thread didn't start at the beginning. Aubrey had lost control of the bike she was riding and sped downhill right into a tree face first. She shattered every bone in her face.

Aubrey is a very pretty girl - you are right: Nobody will ever know unless she tells them.
Sorry to hear about her bike accident even if it was years ago ... I am glad she is fine ... my daugther is also 14.
