Terrible, terrible things are happening there. We sometimes become complacent here in the west because we live in a relatively stable and benign society compared to much of the world. Let us hope his death was not in vain and that change does come in Iran . .
That said, that isn't much of a sniper if he only scored one hit out of all those shots . . the Sniper Creed "One shot, One kill".

i hope all this iran-mania isn't a sign america is gearing it's citizens up for a war with iran? wasn't any lessons learned by iraq?
America is more hated in iraq than before , funnily enough widespread slaughter of civilians to kill terrorists among them by a nation whose own people remain untouched thousands of miles away is not popular with those who are the victims.

I think that rather than an all out invasion, just send in the Navy Seals, they can covert and sneak in. Snipe the bastards (the leaders and such) and then sneak back out quietly w/o getting caught.
Then let the rest of the people deal with it afterwards.
