Okay, so God says a rainbow is the reminder of his promise to never again destroy mankind by means of floodwater.
But according to JWs, he's still going to destroy mankind again- just by other means. WTF?

I think the idea is that he will never use water to destroy mankind again. Hence the belief that armageddon won't be water based. Either way it doesn't really matter, it's pointless reading too much into myths, it's a bit like when people over-analyse Star Trek chronologies & stuff.
Anyone familiar with the 7 Noachide laws embodied in the colors of the rainbow? It is a fascinating piece of Judaic thought.
