It would be a rather nice gesture if congregations around the world acted as overflow venues for the funeral of Michael Jackson.

The hall down the hill from us just broke ground last week, they appear to be doubling in size (2 English, 1 Spanish congo) on ample *donated* acreage for expansion.
Food tents and weekend Bethelites and desperate pioneer sisters and everything.
Perhaps they knew something in advance about MJ's demise. Probably, it's WT property in the NYC metro area worth developing for later sale.
Otherwise, the local JWs always made it clear to me, he was DF'd and not to be spoken of or listened to.

Hell no. THe Gloved One disassociated himself from the organization in 1986 and in more recent years affiliated with his brother, Jermaine's religion, Islam. I guess it's no surprise that a man who has never grown up would gravitate towards religions full of amazing miracles and fairy-like paradaisical promises.
