Ethanol?

Interesting. I was aware that Ethanol had it's downside, but was unaware of how large the downside was . . .
I was in NH for the July 4th Holiday and could not find gasoline that was not 10% ethanol . . I reluctantly filled my 1987 Porsche with the schtuff and experienced much reduced gasoline mileage. While traveling back through Vermont to NY I could not find gasoline without ethanol . . I asked a Vermont gas station owner where I could get gasoline without ethanol and he replied "Good luck with that!" Only when I got back to Central NY could I find it.
Now I have to make sure that Mrs LoB does not use ethanol laced fuel . . .

It has a higher Octane level than normal fuel and is 4 Cents cheaper....it cleans your engine and most newer cars can take ethenol without any damage...{check the list of cars} .....I use it and have no problems!
One problem he did not mention is taking away valuble food resources {corn} to "feed" our petrol needs....food prices rise.
