    No Biggie,

but I was looking at this youtube video of the International Convention in Germany.

The video is of the crowd clapping and cheering fullon seven minutes.

At the beginning though, there are people with orange vests on and they seem to be the ones

they are clapping for, so I figured the baptismal candidates as I remember clapping and cheering

as they left to change. But I never saw baptismal candidates wearing anything that made them stand out

    from others.

And I have never been to a convention where the clapping was not stifled after just a few minutes at the very most.

I have to admit I got a bit emotional watching, I remember what it all used to mean to me to be there.

Thank ya for sharing that Purps.

Perhaps the vests are just an easier way for attendants to be able to direct these ones getting the dunk. I have never heard clapping and cheering at an Assembly before like this. Waving towels and the like. Wow.

at 4:20 it looks as though there is even a banner! I can't read it though.

There are LOTs of banners even. One says "We love you all."

    Purps..

Every convention I went to had "Clapping Fits"..

The entire audience looked like seals clapping for a fish..

That happened a lot back in the day..

I don`t know how things are now..

We used to play the clapping game. Everyone claps for the baptismal candidates as they file out of the stadium. Clapping dies down. Wait for it . . . start clapping again. The whole stadium claps with you again. We managed to do this up to six times. You've got to time it right. Ah, the easily led.

Some people clap for joy, other clap in grief for those who are about to die.

Around these parts there was generally a clap at the end of convention - but it usually died down quickly as folks stampeded to their cars to get out of parking lot.
