Interracial/cultural dating. Why some groups do and don't

  As you can see from my pic I am a white male. My first wife (while I was a JW) was Mexican American and my current wife is from Taiwan. She and I were talking about "mixed" marriages and we noticed something that were not sure of the reason. White males and White females seem to cross cultural lines at about the same rate. The same is for Latinos. But for Asians, the females by far outnumber the males who will date someone outside their ethnicity. With the African Americans, it is the males who far outnumber the females who will do so. Why the disparity?

  I believe Black men seek out White women because they were at one time "forbidden fruit."

  You know how the male ego likes a challenge.

  Speaking from the perspective of a Black woman, I just can't get it out of my head and heart how Black women were often used simply to satisfy the lusts of White men.

  My family is white, and my brother's first wife was black. She said white people, white men in particular, smell like wet dogs. That wasn't the first time I heard that. Maybe it's true. If it is, I wouldn't want to be with someone who I think smells like a wet dog.

  I also heard of the wet dog thing from my black SIL who married a white man, I never heard of that before she said it.

  I'm mexican american maried to a black man and have dated all races in my time... including white men and never noticed it?

  Oh well, to each their own I suppose.
