Now, if I said "the Watchtower has behaved like a harlot",
you would probably think that this is just another tired
tirade about the U.N. or other secret deals in which the
Society's leadership betray their flock amidst lies.
Nope, I'm telling you the Watchtower leadership has a well-
established tradition of deliberately and consciously modelling
their behavior after a prostitute. How so?
Well, many years ago, Judge Rutherford thought up the idea of
"Theocratic Warfare Strategy" and the rationale for this
defense of deliberate deceit was Rahab the harlot.
Now, Rahab lied about the spies leaving and was spoken of
as an example of faith - ergo , it must be OK with Jehovah to
lie to save the organization's collective ass.
While Rahab was an example of faith, there is no evidence
that she was any kind of righteous proselyte when she allied
herself with Israel - she was still a lying harlot.
Thus, the Bible offers her as an example to be followed as
a person of faith - and later repentance.
Using her as an example of "lying is OK", seems to me to
be a betrayal of everything the Bible is supposed to stand for.
Now, while the comments from Rutherford about this are a bit
dated, I don't see the Society REPUDIATING what he said.
Far from it, it now appears to be an established tradition,
based on the conduct of a lying prostitute.
