Hudson River Plane Crash

I have been watching the news about this plane/helicopter collision over the Hudson River.
My heart goes out to the families and friends of the ones that died.

That's so sad. It makes me wonder, though, how many airplanes are in that river. There seems to be a magnet under the surface that just pulls the planes in.

The story became even more tragic when I heard the tour helicopter was a group of Italians and how the authorities are working with the families at the tour site with interpretors to tell them what happened and how to handle the situation.
And the plane had a child in it, on top of everything else.

That is extremely sad news.
Always hate to hear of such accidents that affect so many lives.

In Paris, flying over the intra muros city is forbidden, apart from exceptional events such as the Bastille day parade, for the French AF, or film shootings, due to confined air space. Don't they do the same in NY ? So sad.
