I hate that kind of non-argument-argument that these weasels at the WBTS use.

The word usage is incredibly pompous.
This statement has left me with the follow question.... What's the evidence?
Every time the WTS uses the word "evidently", that is a sure-fire give that there is no evidence whatsoever. The conclusion that is so "evident" is just needed to support whatever doctrine they are defending.
Apparently, it has to be true simply because we say it is even though there is no evidence.
Weasel word. The WTBTS loves those things.

Evidently, apparently, in light of, it seems, it is only reasonable to conclude,...... I tried telling my jw once that every time he read those words (and others like them) he could be sure it was just made up, from men, nothing more. Opinion only. Made no difference of course, sigh.
