Have been doing some tidying up and culling as we have rearranged the house. i threw out my old witnessing bag with song book less pens etc.Was a rare feeling indeed.

Mine is in the boot of my old Mondeo which is off the road, I keep meaning to burn it on a bonfire every time i see it but so far keep forgetting about it. I had a huge fire yesterday as it happens..

Same here. Old videos cleared out of the dvd cabinet, old magazines because my wife now has a tablet for all of that. So much clutter! It feels good to chunk stuff

We cleared out nearly everything years ago, I burned a lot of Literatrash, but by coincidence, it was a couple of years after that when my old magazine folder surfaced, complete with a "Not Home" list that I had not handed in.

It was a great pity that I had not dated that N.H list, as I think it was probably the last time I ever went on the knock-knocks.

Fond memories of tossing nearly 30 year accumulation of theocrap! We took it to the trash dump where a huge grinder is at the bottom of a concrete ravine and DUMPED it. We watched the grinder until it was all gone.

This month makes 31 years since we began to study with the wonderful world of witnesses, and 30 years since we were craptized. Now we are old but free. I would not go back, that's for sure.

Awake at last

It must be something in the air around memorial season.

Mr Awake at last threw his meeting bag and field service bag away along with the contents just over a week ago.

We also cleaned out all the videos, CD's and books. All we have left now is the large study Bible, the Interlinear Translation and a Silver Bullet Bible. EVERYTHING else is GONE GONE GONE. I was born in and am now 52. Never in my life have I had so much cupboard and bookshelf space and a feeling of a load being lifted from me. I can now make space for my new books, Crisis of Conscience, In search of Christian Freedom, Combatting Cult Mind Control and all my worldly novels.

Happy Memorial Season to you all. I think I might toddle down to the supermarket and buy a packet or two of hot cross buns, mmm, and some of those nice fancy chocolate eggs wrapped in foil and a bunny shaped chocolate for Miss Awake at last. She was also eyeing off a plush hen with chickens and eggs.
