I believe that any hierarchy, be it religious, military or political, tends to atract psychopaths out of proportion to the rest of the population.

One thing I know from my experience, you never dance with psychopaths. You've got to be ready, knowledgeable and really cool if you confront them.

Satanus, a relative of mine whom I consider psychopathic was a cop. Fortunately they seem to get tired of their job and get in trouble with their superiors.
