...I think it's discouraging the practice of baptising minors. JWs love to say "we don't have infant baptism" but given the fact that many witness children are baptised in their early teens or before, they may as well be infants. Since this action opens them to possible alienation from their family (due to judicial action), I think this is the achilles heal for the WBTS.
If there is one thing worth campaigning for within the JW religion...

The JW practice of baptizing children is far more reprehensive than the way other religions baptize infants. In the latter case the downside is an artificial inflation of the churches membership numbers. Big deal. In the JW's case, children are held accountable in the severest way for a decision they are not capable of making no matter how well they parrot WTS teachings.

They get children to be afraid of dying unless they are baptized by showing them violence and then telling them that they will end up like that unless they are baptized. This results in 6 year olds getting baptized out of fear that they will get destroyed, only to end up burdened for life serving the Washtowel.

Out at Last!
At least most who are baptized young wake up and leave when they are in a position to make an informed decision, usually at 18, the first chance they have to get out. The bad things are that they have to realize that they wasted years of their lives and will probably loose the right to communicate with their "friends" and "family" , if you can call ones who let a book publishing company make their decisions for them.

The woman that studied with my sister flat out told her that she would die at Armageddeon if she wasn't baptised. I think she was 16 when she took the plunge.
