I saw Kite give talks at our CA's in the early 70's. He was a dynamic speaker.

One of his talks stood out:

"King of the North with emphasis of 1975" - This one very controversial. Clearly was stating the end would come then. As he said in the talk, some JW's were saying it was not happening in '75 and he corrected them with a letter from the WTS saying it was, would happen.

I taped the talk and while in Bethel we would listen to it.

I had Floyd Kite as my C.O. when I was 14 years old in 1973 and he was going on and on about, " Brothers and sisters we don't know if we will have another district convention in this system or next year in the paradise- but we know it's so close. We are on the threshold, the brink of Armageddon ! " Oh brother ! I mean this guy was so intense his eyes would bug out of his head believing Armageddon was near. I feel sorry for him like my parents- now in their 80's and they'll never realize this false illusionary dream that has been told to them by the WT society. Floyd was a nice guy- just mind controlled like every other JW
