What did Jesus mean when he said 'let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven'?
What is God's will for the earth?

What Christ taught was universal brotherhood, and his primary teaching was simple, to love one another as God loves us. This is from his model prayer, and it emphasized letting Christ's kingdom come to the earth. It's only a reality if we have the love and word of Christ in our heart first, then practice Christlike love towards others.

Who knows what Jesus was thinking, he never wrote anything down. At least Moses had the stone tablets.
The future for mankind is for them to go extinct from the face of the Earth, just like big bad T-Rex and his kin. It might take awhile or it could happen next year. An extinction event catastrophe will happen again and at any rate, in a billion years the Earth will be too hot for most life anyway.-

I only know what he is recorded as saying.. He told his hearers to pray that whatever God wills for this earth, may it take place.....period.
Anything added to that is the conjecture and opinion of other ordinary people. I can do without that.

Having a people living stagnant, sterile lives full of misery. He wants them to forever live under duress, yet He perennially promises to remove this duress (but only for those who follow His provisions for "salvation"--including giving up anything that is fun). Yet He wants us praising Him for this promise, without thinking that the "deliverance" is from something God Himself created.
