My homework sometimes consists of movies like Sleepers and Crash. They are rich in sociological points. What have you gotten out of them? Have you seen them?

Crash is very heavy-handed.

i loved sleepers quite sad, harrowing and a two wrongs dont make a right. but its hard to feel any sympathy for nokes and you feel sorry for the children that were sent away for misplaced mischief gone horribly wrong, who became a product of their punishment and didnt turn out so great, while the other two were subjected to the same kind of conditions and yet turned out a whole lot better although they still carried their own damage.
the storyline mixed with the legal twist was brilliant,
theres more than one film called crash, i saw the crash with james spader in years back but it wasnt to my taste and i just couldnt get into it.

Sleepers is a very good movie. The book is even better.

Sleepers is an autobiography. Life is sometimes more interesting than fiction.
Crash that I saw had Sandra Bullock. It was all about how our prejudices can get the better of us and make us do stupid things. It had a funny ending, though. That Pine Sol lady, Shaniqua, sure got what was coming to her!
