Today I was telling my stepdaughter about AKJeff's thread on cheesy cornball music. She started talking about a music video from the mid to late 1990's where a black male was standing outside singing, and a woman was being beaten inside a house. I can't for the life of me figure out what song she's talking about. I was thinking maybe "When the Doves Cry" by Prince, but she said that wasn't it. Any ideas?
