my wife and i were just invited on vacation for the spring with a large group of jws. the group goes every year, and every year we go with them. i was going to decline but my wife really wants to go. i will admit that the group that goes is rather wild even for "normal" non jws and they never do anything "spiritual".
looking back on it, we always seemed to take vacations with large groups of witnesses to the ocean or the mountains. is that a common jw thing in most congregations?
went on a ski holiday with a large group of JW many years back, enjoyed it very much, never discussed spiritual thing, had a great time at the resort niteclub.
I would do small vacations with a group. But nothing major.
I am planing a vacation for next year. I'm coming to the west coast - save save save save save arse off.
We took a cruise with JW friends. I have known plenty of JW's that traveled to the mountains or the beach together.
I suppose it is common for people in general to vacation with their friends.
