What did you do? Did you get home safe? (ha ha)
Me, I got home from work close to 6 and took a nap. I ended up oversleeping and woke up at a quarter to 11. So I got ready real quick and put the hammer down to The Downtown Tavern. Only a few blocks away as the crow flies, but my part of town has these annoying 1-way streets so I had to do some extra driving to get there. Good band playing, The Chris Hicks Band. Complimentary mini-bottles of champagne for everyone so I got a couple of band members to autograph the bottle for my collection.
Then I headed out a few minutes ago. Takin a valium-10 and gonna get a good night's sleep tonight and psyche up for next year tomorrow. Well and burn a couple of cd's for the sound guy at the bar-Tommy Fogerty and the Blue Velvets and The Golliwogs.
Other than that, gonna hit a chat at http://serve.com.larryi/wtchat.htm
    Happy New Year Y'all!

    OHH WE HAD A BLAST!!!!

I went with my parents, Moman and his wife, his son and girlfriend and another friend. We went to the 'Improve' the new comedy club in Palm Beach. They had 3 guys that where hysterical. The last 2 were well known and I'd seen them on TV can't remember their names though. The one guy was the one who's the ventriloquist, and has that old cranky guy Walter. Ohh man it was great I'll try to remember some of the jokes!!! Lots of S FL humor. I'm sure Moman will know the guys name.

Well, after some wine, who knows how much champagne, and now some nyquil I'm ready for bed.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR

A happy New Year: These birds started in on me until I explained to them that it was a mistake. Armageddon was postponed by the GB and they weren't informed.

    It sucked!

First we found ourselves in a deserted mall at about 11:30 PM, until luckily someone I work with showed up and took us to a big club in northern Johannesburg. Everything was going great until I heard that one of my friends had been in an accident. Argh.

Then when we were leaving my friend who had picked us all up (and driven quite far to do it) discovered that his car radio had been stolen! :(

The party itself at the club we went to wasn't bad, though...
