"There is no justice. There is only law."

    I forget who said it.

If it didn't exist, all our efforts to obtain it would be in vain.

Often, if you have enough money, you can buy justice.

The term "Justice" is very subjective in its meaning there is no such thing as an absolute meaning out there somewhere in the universe. We all bring our own prejudice, cultural, religous&governmental indoctrination to bare on what is considered "Justice".

So in a word I would say it all depends what you consider "Justice" to a bible believer it is "Justice" when God wipes out all unbelievers and sends them off to a fiery hell or some other type of misfortune for simply not believing and conforming to an ancient code of laws. Justice to Judge Judy is very subjective and very often extremely arbitrary based on her exulted view of her self and her intelligence. Justice to a person born in to some primitive culture would be different than ours.

So I would say I don't really believe in any Supreme Being running the universe and being the absolute Judge and decider of what is Justice, and that Justice is all in the eyes of the beholder and nothing more.

Do I believe in the concept of justice? Yes, I do. Do I believe justice exists? Not very much in the world I am afraid.

As far as the JW religion is concerned, they try to make people believe that justice will somehow 'happen' in the new system. They would have you believe that God is going to repay everything back that everybody who ever lived ever did. I don't believe this. For one thing, it would make him the most petty god around. That would mean if I stepped on somebody's foot, he is going to step on mine and so on....

I don't believe this because the concept is just insane. I think (if there is an element of truth to their paradise earth theory) that something else would be going on and what I mean is that there would be a substitution or a repayment to the damaged individuals or they would be made to 'forget' their bad experience. I really do think that the saying 'vengeance is mine, I will repay' was mostly said to keep people and society in line and stop them from 'getting even'.
