Is this something new? My husband's death notice was posted in the paper and the location of the service was included. A couple of weeks later I received a forwarded envelope from the church where the service was held. It was addressed "To the family of ....." Inside was a hand written note of comfort and a tract. This seems like a good way of getting in service time. Anyone else had this happen to them?

When I was a JW, I used to write letters and send tracts. Your right, good way to count time. Sorry for your loss.
