My endeavour to identify chiasms in the parallel chapters of Matthew 23-25, Mark 13 and Luke 21 may be accessed at:

I had another look at Luke 21 and updated my thoughts on the chiasms there. I also added the local chiasm that verse 24 is involved in.

I have not included any conclusions, but they should be quite obvious.

That's a lot of work. Interesting.

    LS,

The Bible is full of these chiasms; a prime example is in the book of Revelation.

Search the www and you will find all sorts of pieces there; what I did is my personal understanding, and I am open to suggestions. Did my biases influence my analysis?

From there, however, I have yet to discover what these open up to us, although they provide an insight into the way the writers crafted their work.

    Beautiful job!

Did my biases influence my analysis?

    None that I could detect.

Are you planning on doing Revelation?

I've tried to overlap mentally the chapters that deal with the Two Witnesses, Dragon, Beasts, and Harlot. I know there is an interconnection in there somewhere, but I haven't found it.

Thanks for bringing your faith and scholarship to this board.

    Doug,

May I ask what conclusion you drew from this?
