And why are the local congs so hot to have your "emergency" info today --as to where you will be if not at home?

Did the org. do anything to help the JWs taken to prison camps, or were they just told to consider it a "privelege" for Jehovah?

Do you think all of these people were zealots...or could there have been a defectors movement starting?

How do we know that we have been told the truth about what actually caused the persecution?

After Jesus was crucified, all of his followers were targeted and killed. Perhaps this is how the organized bandits were able to make changes in doctine and direction of religions. All the evidence to the contrary had been annihilated.

As Babylon crumbles today and WT loses its power and control over many, as well as it's finances....there has to be some mad hornets at the top.

Do you ever wonder if there will be vengence from man (done in the "name of god" ) planned for those who have exposed the truth about this evil cult?

I for one think they want your address so they can track you down, the excuse of needing to know how to contact us during an emergency is in my opinion, nonsense of the highest order. I refused to give them info and my spouse up and gave it to them without my permission. I told them they don't need it, they wanted my cell # and I told them its none of your business.

Not all Witnesses withstood the Nazi assault so well. Of the eight German Watchtower district servants (the highest level in the Watchtower hierarchy in the national branch), August Fehst was arrested by the Gestapo, and he then betrayed Erich Frost. In response to his betrayal by Fehst, Frost reportedly gave the Gestapo the names of the remaining seven district servants (Otto Dauth, Albert Wandres, Fred Meier, Walter Friese, Arthur Nawroth, Heinrich Ditschi, Karl Siebeneichler who died in Sachsenhausen). According to the Gestapo document Haftbuch Nr. 292, Gestapo Berlin, Dienststelle II B 2 no torture was used on Frost; his anger at Fehst was evidently sufficient for him to give the Gestapo the information they wanted. After this he spent a short time in Sachsenhausen, and then was moved to the German-occupied British Channel Island of Alderney until the war ended when he resumed his duties as the Watchtower branch chief under a new set of district servants.

This type of event was not totally unknown by some American Witnesses........ while Bro. Frost was painted sympathetically in my early childhood, his actions were given the reason why we were to discern strategy, empoy it and know when to die in martyred silence. We told of some Nazi torture practices too.

Once Rutherford gave the finger to Adolf all bets were off, the R&F German JW were to remain faithful (purple triangles) but in reality they were nothing more than mere pawns of WTS propaganda (Expect a similar stance in Russia)

BTW Frost was the composer and lyricist to 'Forward you Witnesses'

I also don't understand the quest to obtain the emergancy info from r&f. I know that if I was leaving my home I could be staying anywhere and not one particular place. And if I were to have a certain place to stay wouldn't it be easier for me to contact wts central point rather than having elders trying to contact me? What if the elder with me on the list died in emergency? Is another elder going to know that that one died and will contact the people on the deseased elders' list???? It doesn't make sense!! I didn't trust them several years ago when they started the info gathering campaign and I was a believing dub back then, and now? No way should they have that info and in fact they shouldn't have any info on it's members but cult is a cult. If WTS was raided, you know that all their info on r&f would be given to the government and wts wouldn't go out to pay anyone's bail but that would fall on the conscience of fellow congregation members! Don't ask what WTS can do for you, but ask what you can do for WTS is their motto.
