I understand from a New Scientist article(I may or may not have read this correctly)that Swiss rolls appear to be of pagan origin being associated with 'Yule'logs.
Should JWs eat something associated with pagan rites?

Come on, badboy! Many foods have religious beginnings (Pretzels, Hot Cross Buns). Plus, aren't kosher foods blessed (or something like that?). So what! Enjoy. Eat.

Question to the French on the board :
Charles Chasson , are you here?
Does that mean that french JWs don't eat any "Buche de Noël"
around Christmas time ?

Should JWs eat meat? It contains whole blood...and if you cannot have it even in an emergency in very small quantities i.e. plasma 5% blood fractions - 95% water....why should you be able to eat it in meat?

Badboy,
JWs will do anything they think they can get away with, until a Watchtower or Awake magazine comes out and condemns it. Then they will act as if it's a message from God, and demonise the said food.
