    Hello Brothers and Sisters,

I thought I'd list the books I am reading currently.
I'd love to see what you're reading too.

Just finished: The Agony and the Ecstacy
It's the story of Michael Angelo. Great Read!

Current : The complete letters of Vincent Van Gogh
    Fascinating and deep.

    On the table being read:
    Neuro-Linguistic Programming...veeeedy interestink!

How to live safely in a Dangerous World.

    Surveillance Countermeasures.

    Privacy for sale.

    Ham Radio made easy.

and ...Oh my gosh m2u's a nut !! "The poor man's James Bond Vol.1

When I'm done I will read the Bible from cover to cover exclusively.

I would like to find a Bible which is easy to understand in English(not my primary language) and I would like it to have slightly larger print (have to do a lot of reading when it's the Bible your into)

If any of you know of a Bible that fits this description, PLEASE let me know. I'd like to hear from actual users instead of reviews.

I'm also reading poetry which is a non-stop pasttime of mine.

    Thanks,

    m2u

Hmmmmm, the NIV (New International Version) is pretty readable but I don't know about the accuracy of the translation. Probably most Bible's can be had in large print. I understand what you mean though. I always liked the big version of the NWT. Easier to focus on what you are reading when you're not fighting to find the next verse.

That's quite an eclectic selection of "reads". I'm in one of my "don't get too many books started at once" phases. I just finished "Cryptonomicon" -Neal Stephenson (fiction re. codebreaking and hacking) and have started "Sailing Alone Around the World" -Captain Joshua Slocum (autobio, he was the 1st to do it in about 1880 I think)

    M2U,
Hope the NIV works for you.
I just read your memorial posted by waiting. Very sad and very moving. I feel for you bro.

The book is available from Amazon.com. The Publisher is Dover Publications, Inc./ library of congress cat #59-7670. Your local bookstore should be able to order it. Smithsonian mag. has a good article about him. I think it's can be read on line.

I think I read Survelliance Countermeasures. It's amazing what's available if someone wants to snoop.

    Enjoy,
    OVB

I know exactly what you mean mommy! Two kids aged 18 months and 3.

Like you say when you do get time your too tired, also I've recently started an Open University course so that is taking up most of my free time.

I've just started reading Dean Koontz - From the corner of his eye, I wish I'd not bought it now, because its so good that I'm tempted to sit a read when I've got loads of other things I should be doing.

    Angharad,
I saw their pic they are ADORABLE:)
It amazing how much free time I have now that they are in school, find myself lost sometimes, so I got 3 cats to fill the void.
I agree if we start on something ie; project, craft, a good book, NOTHING gets done:) Been there done that:)
