And the LORD said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.

    2 Kings 23:27

...looks like everybody got crossed off of his list.

Was this when he looked around and decided to pick Charlie Russell?

If God chose him, today's Jehovah's Witnesses have ignored his/Russell's words.

Therefore, it is written there as "(I) will cast off."

Today, it is that "organization" that this Scripture is applied exactly, IMO.

    Possible,

Are you saying that WT is god's organization?

Or are you saying that WT is another one that god has cast off?

Did god really ever give his name, or did man just decide to take it?

Although I don't know your belief, perhaps, I surmise that you aren't necessarily asking to us earnestly.

Although I respect Russell, I don't think that God chose him.
And I think that the only organization which God chose does not exist in this world, IMO

The answer which I wrote above (Post 742) is mainly for JWs.

Well, first of all, the "Organization" of JW and the "Bible" (or Jehovah God) are not related.
You also think so, don't you?

"The reason for discarding all human organizations, and not reforming the least objectionable one and calling out of all others into it, now, is shown by our Lord's treatment of the various Jewish sects in the harvest or close of their dispensation; for then, as now, all were rejected, and the "Israelites indeed" were called out of all, into freedom, and taught the will and plan of God by various chosen vessels of God's own selection."
