Have you notice some JWs act little bit worldly in order to recruit others to the religion?

Yeah. My dub ex-friend would often affect urban slang when trying to study with younger people. He couldn't really help it, he loved hip-hop and it would just come out like that...

I didn't notice that, though I'm convinced JW's would do it in order to get someone into the society.

What I noticed was that, of the three JW's who tried to get me into the society, one was way more tolerant of "worldly" things than the other two. I had this image of John Paul II in my car, a gift from my mother, that I put there just to show appreciation for her. One of the JW's didn't mind. The other two, well, they actually wanted me to remove it. And, that was when I was just getting to know them. It was kind of funny to see their faces when I said I wouldn't, because I didn't want to hurt my mother.

Worldly compared to acting all loaded language culty?.........

Sure I have seen JWs try to work an angle that is way more 'worldly' than they are in 'real life'.

.......can't help but think about how this works into tonights SM about reeling in the 'Bible Student' by feigning 'genuine concern'.......

The display is nothing more than a show so that worldly people will not think of the cancer as being all that bad. In fact, as strict as the slimebag that dragged me into the cancer was with me, he was not all that cultish in the early days of the study. He would play the same games I had, and not say too much about the music for a couple of months. All a show--he is the one that wanted me to listen to [then] 225 songs, go to all the boasting sessions at all costs, and pio-sneer. And go through the Value Destroyer Training School.
