Time will tell I suppose.
For the first time in about two years he actually initiated contact with me, via a very brief PM on Facebook. Before I left the 'truth' we were absolute best friends for about 35 years. Is it possible that we might begin a Yin-Yang friendship? Too soon to make the call on that, but a positive to my new year I think.

I think the guy is so ignorant that he doesn't understand how FB works. He took me off his friends list and then PM'd me when I asked him why. His reasons were that he didn't like his page to be antiJw. He didn't even understand that his friends comments would show up on his page. What an ignoramous!

His loss, not yours. I have found a few former JW's I knew from 20+ years ago and I initiated a friends request, just on the chance theat they could be out, but no luck so far. With JW's , in today, can easily be out of the KH next year, so time is actually on your side, AK-Jwff.

How disappointing for you, no one likes rejection. He does sound like a bit of a muppet. Never mind time is on your side since there in no big A on the horizon.
Well, he 'reinstated' me to FB. But it was not a pretty exchange for a couple days.
I don't hold much hope of this relationship going anywhere to be honest.

It's still a good sign. He's struggling as a dangerous mind-control cult member and as a genuine human being.
Maybe the genuine human being will gain some ground this year, or next year. Who knows?
