I found the thinking so close to the JWs in so many ways. The in to outer darkness with Barb and her meeting with the elders was almost too close to home.

One of my favorite shows! I don't get HBO so I won't see it until I can watch it via the web..but hopefully that will only take a few days. I already read some of the storylines for this season......interesting. sammieswife.

I still haven't seen the last episode from season 3. I hooked on the show earlier this year and watch all the episodes except for the very last one in a few weeks. It was different and lot better than I thought it would be.
I'm going to see if I can find the last episode...itunes should have it.

Roman's body appearing in the freezer and then at the casino site was funny! I don't understand why Lois called Frank or why the native American guy asked Bill if Roman's hat belonged to him.

Those were hilarious scenes!
It seems Lois only called Frank to try and make peace with him so she doesn't have to live in fear and hiding.
The hat - Bill told them he had nothing to do with Roman's disappearance and then his hat shows up in their Casino. And that was after someone called in a tip to the FBI that Roman was at their Casino.

I love this show! I too noticed many similarities before I was even convinced that Jehovah's Witnesses didn't have the truth.
I can honestly say, this show had part in getting me to think critically. I realized that if these people where so sure in their beliefs, that they thought they had truth and they behaved simililar to Witnesses than maybe witnesses weren't what I thought they were..
Sadly, we no longer ave the HBO package so I'll have to wait to watch this season :(

I have started watching this series and it makes you realize Jdubs are not so unique in being cuckoo.
I wish there would be a Jdub show like this.
How could we get that to fly.

I really like this show too. I don't have HBO, so I have rented seasons 1-3, I'm still on 2. But, I do notice the similarites with the Witnesses, and even the same terminology. I've heard the terms inactive and apostate on the show. And even a mention of failed predictions.
