Reason No. 734 that I'm happy not to be a dub anymore --

It's been mentioned more than once that dubs themselves are apostates for having turned their backs on their former religions in order to become dubs.

They are apostates in a further, more serious sense, however. Over the years, goaded by the WTS, they've turned their backs on their own "outmoded" doctrine, doctrine that was hailed as God's own truth at the time.

They are apostates in every possible meaning of the word ... and the hypocrisy in their denials is appalling.

For a JW "truth" is fluid and an individual's beliefs are subject to change without notice by decree of the GB. Even the terms of a JW's "vows" to God can be changed in the same manner, as happened in 1985. Most JWs would be DF'd for apostasy if they insisted on believing the same things they believed on their day of baptism. They have apostacized against their own teachings more times than I care to count.

Since the root of apostasy is "a standing away from," JW's have certainly apostatized from Jesus Christ.

Their teachings are far and away from anything Jesus of Nazareth taught.

Good post, good point.

Everyone in life who has lucid momemts who awakes from their trance like sleep will

be aspostates from something.

Like Solomon says in Ecclesiastes everything, including the bible, including our understanding of

God, our understanding of Science, our understanding of religion, on and on and on

is nonsense.

Life makes no sense.

Thats the way God made us according to ecclesiastes.

So whenever ones head momentarily pops out of their axx and the stop to smell the roses and

sniff the air they will change directions.

Because no matter which way they were going it was the wrong way.

Becasue everything is nonsense.

And if its not nonsense, its vanity.

According to God, Jesus and Solomon in the book of Ecclesiastes.

What I find interesting is you can be considered an apostate for not agreeing with a doctrinal understanding such as the meaning of "this generation" and it's been what....changed 3 times since 1995? Wonder if anyone has been DF's for apostacy pre-1995 for believing "this generation" means what the WTS says it currently means?
