I made slight mention of this in last post, but this deserves it's own thread and more info here. In the book of revelation climax, page 36, mentions In the songbook produced by Jehovahs people in 1905, there were twice as many songs praising Jesus as there were songs praising Jehovah God. In their 1928 songbook, the number of songs extolling Jesus was about the same as the number extolling Jehovah. But in the latest songbook of 1984, Jehovah is honored by four times as many songs as is Jesus. THis is in harmony with Jesus own words " the father is greater than I am."
Look in your old songbook right now, in the back where they categorize songs, Jesus has 7 songs, Jehovah has 28 songs! 7x4=28! So Jehovahs 28 songs plus Jesus 7 songs = 35 songs out of 225 are for Praising Jehovah and or Jesus, but for Jehovah alone, thats 28/205. I guess the rest of the songs are for obedience, etc, esp to faithful slave huh?
KEYPOINT HERE, is that the revelation book states 4 times as many songs, so the WT ACKNOWLEDGES that only 28 songs in that book for for Jehovah. I guess most meetings are NOT singing praises to Jehovah then are/were they? Also interesting the new songbook isn't categorized, so see how many this one would do that for.
