If they tried visiting my place, I would simply put on some Christmas music, after confronting them with Christmas and/or Easter decorations outside. When they try to get me to take them down, I would tell them that, if I take them down off my place, I will put them up at theirs and they have to leave them up (enforced by making them impossible to take down).

Becaus I still live with my Dubby parents, I haven't had that experience yet...
But I dont think I would be inpolite...
If it's a new person I might trip them up over the scriptures... Dunno...
