When "in" i would have picked "sister perfect" i've written about her before, the one that farted Chanel No 5?

Now that i'm out i pick Lady GaGa, someone that would scare the S**t out of Sister Perfect hahahahaa!

Wether you like Lady GaGa's music or not, she is a kick ass business woman, who has vision and will not allow critics to get in the way of that. Now that i admire very much!

    LOL.

    I HAVE NO ROLE MODELS.

I do admire those who follow The Golden Rule, though.

I don't need any role models. I understand that even my favorite rapper (50 Cent) has a lifestyle that would not suit me--I value him for his music, not his lifestyle. The same can be said for everyone out there--they might have something that is of value to me, but their lifestyles would not suit me.

And this goes especially for people who think everyone must follow Jesus the way the religion teaches them. Since I do not trust the Bible (even Jesus' account was written from memory 40-60 years after the fact, corrupted by Paul), I certainly do not trust someone's interpretation of it. As such, and given that I would rather find the facts myself so I don't get mislead, I feel no need for role models.

Yes, Eminem and 50 Cent, this means you are free to use all the drugs you feel like and rap about the glories of using drugs. I listen to it because I enjoy the entertainment, not for the inspiration to try it at home.

i find myself absorbed in the politics
of the queer community, topical issues
ranging from rulings in the US tax courts
to ENDA, DADT.... the list is extensive

even on the fringe, i get to read or listen
    to BRILLIANT discourse by passionate,
    intelligent people doing groundbreaking
work .... it is so challenging and at the
same time energizing! i love these peeps!
    they are utterly insprirational

and for the record, living with a queer teen,
you can bet that lady gaga gets airplay
around these parts.... i want your horror...
    what a line, eh?!

Same ones as when I was 'in'.

Guglielmo Marconi, Samuel Finley Breese Morse, Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edicon and Nikolas Telsa (I may have misspelled their names).

All greats in the field of electronics. All overcame unsurmountable obstacles to demonstrate their new ideas (many of which were either scoffed at or ignored).

Oh - and my grandfather - who I feel that I am a lot like.

    Regards,

    Jim TX
