... a good chance to show them how much fun the holidays can be! Send them some flowers and candy, get 'em a card... it doesn't even have to be the 14th... and if it is- how mad can they be at you? You're showing how much you care! That's gonna be my strategy, at least!

I was just thinking about this the other day and trying to remember the poster who was a fader (I think) and got his jw wife a valentine & stuff, he had an excellent reason for her why it was ok and his diehard jw wife accepted it. Darned if I can remember who it was though? anyone remember?
Kind of sad to married but still not have a sweetheart on Valentine's Day isn't it? if you never did Valentine's Day you wouldn't understand, yeah, yeah, it helps out the card companies, etc..... but it can also be a sweet romantic day too if you are creative. Or at least that's how I remember them pre jw life.
