According to WT propaganda, did the "New System" officially begin with the (absurd assumption)arrival of Jesus in 1914?
Or does it start after the firebombs from the sky as they depict in their WT artwork?

It only started for those who live in the Patterson compound
(sorry I couldn't help myself - been reading too many of OUTLAW's posts)
I was curious to know if they teach that "the arrival of Jesus" is synonomous with the beginning of the New System.
Because if this is the teaching, I would wonder how they reconcile that with the chronology of a "tribulation period" and "Armageddon" preceding the arrival that most xtians expect.
Actually, the bible I read says nothing at all about any battle of Armageddon. If it does, I missed it and maybe someone will show me where it says a battle of Armageddon will take place.
I've got Windows 7 OS. Does that count?
I was told it started when Obama assumed the presidency.
That was a good one, Lady Lee!
...but seriously, Cameo, the WTB&TS does not teach that the "New System" began on earth in 1914. First Jesus has to get his gear together and then bring Armageddon to the earth, to overthrow the governments (say goodbye to Health Care!) and the Big Businesses and kill all the wicked people who take transfusions and love their neighbors unconditionally and use their brains for something more than a blood-cooling radiator.
Then the Millennium will begin. woo hoo.
When the Millennium is over, Satan will be let loose AGAIN and utter chaos will reign as the world is once again tested to prove their unswerving devotion to the Invisible Guy in the Sky, Jehovah.
Then the invisible guy in the sky will kill a bunch of humanity again. Let that be a lesson to you. Toe the line forever or he'll kill you too.
hallelujah, world without end, amen.
Shamus- No pumpkins for you!!!!
It is about time for new light that reveals Armageddon really did come in 1975, only it was invisible to all but the crack smokers in Bethel anointed. The wicked were all slain, but not literally dead, only in the figurative sense that they were slain spiritually and are walking dead, unable to see or partake of the banquet offered in the spiritual paradise we are now in.
Should it scare me, having never been a JW, that I can spew this stuff so easily?
