Letterman was talking about the blizzard in New YOrk. And how people hunker down for a few days till the snow melts. then next day go out and shovel snow. Only to come out to the front porch and find JEHOVAH WITNESSES frozen on the porch etc. ha ha ha lots of laughs. maybe some here can put up the video?? please of the monolog

Nice buildup to a small joke- totally unexpected (well, I expected it because you told me).
Could have been followed by, "The post office contacted them and said, 'As long as you guys are the only ones going to each door, could you deliver the mail along with the good new? We really can't get out there.'"

Johnny Carson did this joke back in the 80's, and everyone thought how terrible it was because he was making fun of jehovahs purpose.
