Sorry that people have been giving you a hard time... it's the internet...people get online and sometimes feel they can act any way they want because it's not face-to-face...
It's just people being people, for better and for worse... but a lot of people who post here are truly good. Why not give it another chance?
I for one would love to hear some of your experiences - being Jaracz's nephew, having lived in Japan... cool stuff.

Hate to go off topic, but you Canucks are doing some awesome science in Vancouver.
World's first Quantum Computer. A lot of people are saying that it isn't really a quantum computer, but I believe they will all be proven wrong. D-Wave is going to change everything. I think I'd give up a testicle to tour their facilities.
