Read the ENTIRE book of Ecclesiastes, it's all about death, what do you think?
Did King Solomon believe in any life/hope after death?

Solomon, according to the writings acredited to him, seems to have been severely depressed.
He wasn't happy with property and entertainment and didn't want sex with the same woman very often.
He had lots and lots of wives but was upset about the one who wouldn't be his- Song of Solomon.I don't read how he promoted happiness after death, not at all. He was just miserable and saw no hope.

In Jesus times, forgot which of the Jewish leaders did not believe in a life after death. It really seems Solomon thought that our life while on earth now is the only life we ever get, following commandments of God are beneficial, but there is no after life.
I atleast see where based on the OT, many would think that, it seems to say this is it.

It was the Saducees who didn't believe in the resurrection. That is why they were sad you see. Get it. (old circuit overseer joke) lol
