Around half of those who voted in the last election voted for a ticket with Sarah Palin on it. Your report about miracles doesn't shock me.

Believers in miracles often explain good outcomes to catastrophic events as divine intervention. Several survivors of the earthquake in Haiti, for example, said they believe a miracle saved their lives.
When I had an invisible friend, I thought I was special, too.

"Miraculous things happen, but they are just incredibly good luck (IGL). The opposite would be incredibly rotten luck (IRL). All that this survey reveals is that this country is the most superstitious country in the world."
