I get the joke--either concern is beyond the things certain by rationalism,
but it's not profoundly synonymous. The ironic other side of the coin is that
psychiatry wouldn't generally equate belief in a possible God by someone who
knows their belief is belief, and doesn't want anyone hurt or killed over
whatever choice in such things, with what they'd generally criticize as delu-
sional, such as the delusion of harmful delusional religious (or anti-religious)
extremists. However they might say equating them in others is a form of the
paranoia that leads some to wear tin foil hats and a trait of how the extremists
view those beyond their chosen priority group.

    Haha, Glenster.

"When Mary Louise Salerno saw Jesus Christ in a bucket of pizza sauce..."

Yep. He's everywhere and he's watching you.

The superstitions of religion have done more to turn people into paranoid schizo's than any genetic defect ever has.

I cannot read or otherwise hear "Scranton" without thinking of Archie Bunker exclaming "Scra'ton?!"

Yeah, yeah, but does it truly protect from alien invasion of one's thoughts to wear the foil hats?
